Of course, it also lacks direction, has no angles, and never quite adds up. There’s no telling which way is up, no protractor to measure how far things have gone off course, and absolutely zero acute observations to be found. It’s a flat existence — parallel lines that never meet, circles that go nowhere, and not a single right answer in sight.
But Grandpa never lets a few missing dimensions get in the way of a perfectly good groaner. He’ll tell you life’s problems have a solution — you just have to work the angles, stay well-rounded, and occasionally accept that some things simply don’t compute. He’s obtuse like that. Give the man his protractor and let him have this one.
